CURRICULUM

Bible instruction is provided for each student. The Junior/Senior High classes meet each morning for a devotional, and the entire school gathers for a chapel service each week.

Elmira Christian Academy follows a classic college prep curriculum. Individual Education Programs are provided for students in areas of studies where difficulty is evidenced. This is primarily done through PACES.

PRAYER

The students are trained in the habit or prayer in every aspect of the school day: before they enter the responsibilities of the day, before each instructional class, and when they are in special need or trouble. They learn to pray with and before a group and to share their needs with others. Seeing prayers answered builds faith. Each student is also prayed for individually by the faculty.

DRESS CODE

Dress code applies to all school activities. Either the school uniform or gym clothes must be worn to all school functions. For dressy occasions such as school programs, ladies should wear a sleeved dress of a length past the knee. Gentlemen should wear dressy pants, oxford shirt, and tie. If a student's attire is inappropriate, the student will not be allowed to participate in the event. The specific uniform dress code will be sent upon request.
