Our mission is to partner with parents to train and educate our students to be useful for Christ in this life and to live and reign with Him in Eternity. |
The purpose of Elmira Christian Academy is to provide each student with the opportunity to know Jesus Christ as Lord and to develop spiritual maturity in the Holy Spirit while learning Christian approaches to life. Our school presents a Bible-centered program. We recognize that God is the source of all truth (Col. 1:18, 2:3).
To this end, the education provided at ECA encompasses spiritual, intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development. Our staff prayerfully seeks God for each student to develop his/her God given potential in each of these areas (Luke 2:52, II Tim. 2:15, Eph. 4:11-13). With God's help, we train our students to produce actions commensurate with their faith (James 2:22). Christian service is a pervasive focus of our school.
We believe that, through the Holy Spirit, Christians can and should be leaders and the primary influencers of this world by word and example. The ultimate purpose of our school is to glorify God in all things (I Cor.10:33).
