Along with local leaders and first responders, Delmarva Christian Schools K-12 students gathered Sept. 28 at the pole on each campus to pray and sing praises during See You at the Pole.
The annual Student Prayer Day is held on the fourth Wednesday of September each year. This year’s national theme, Aflame, is based on the Bible verse Romans 12:11-12. Traditionally organized and executed by students, the high school event was led by members of the Student Leadership Council. Members of the student body at each campus prayed for the health of the nation, government and local leaders, as well as the Christian community of Delmarva and Sussex County.
“The most exciting part of See You at the Pole has been being able to bring nearly 250 people together in high school to have fellowship with each other and have common fellowship with our creator,” said Christian Hodges, Spiritual Committee of the DCHS Student Leadership Council. chief.
Striving to ensure that young adults are critical thinkers, well-educated, and biblical-minded as they seek to discover their calling, Delmarva Christian Schools is a non-denominational school offering an excellent Christian education for students aged from 6 weeks to 12th grade.
