Drs. Simon & Trish Presland of Aim Higher Professional Life Coach Certification will be featured on Close Up Radio

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MICHIGAN, USA, June 3, 2021 / – None of us were raised with Jesus as a parent. We all need healing and restoration. We also want to live a fulfilling life. Life coaches can provide support and assistance on our Christ-like journey and live the life God has planned for us.

Drs. Simon and Trish Presland are the founders of Aim Higher Professional Life Coach Certification, an ICF accredited Christian life coach certification company that combines a strong Christian faith, strong coaching skills and strong business practices.

“We teach, train and equip people to become life coaches from a biblical perspective,” says Trish. “We use the Bible as a plumb line for our coaching education because God’s truth never changes, and principles work if you follow them. We have an extensive library of books on personal and professional development, leadership, emotional healing, and maturity. In each book, the principles taught can be found throughout the scriptures.

The Preslands first met while working on a book and quickly discovered that they had many common interests. They both have a heart for those in suffering and in need of restoration, and a passion for teaching and equipping Christians from all walks of life on their path to spiritual maturity.

When their home church, Evangel Christian Church, wanted to expand their state-accredited and accredited Bible college to include a counseling program, they immediately agreed to oversee it as deans. They developed a Christian Counseling Institute, where they taught their 3 year program. It has also led to the development and teaching of over 100 personalized workshops targeting specific areas of growth such as Communication, Conflict Transformation, Healthy Identity, Belief Systems, Meaning, Limits, Shame and Good. Moreover.

When the Preslands realized that life coaching would be the next way forward for pastors and leaders at all ministerial and professional levels, they decided to get their credentials from ICF, the gold standard of coaching.

“We find coaching to be extremely effective in helping people overcome challenges, find purpose in life, achieve goals, or clarify a situation they are facing,” says Trish.

After graduating from ACC, the husband and wife team saw the need for more Christians to become professional life coaches. Five years ago, they developed Aim Higher Professional Life Coach Certification, a 60-hour scripture-backed program that meets ACSTH standards to train individuals in basic ICF skills, equip them with assessments and other coaching tools, and teach on coaching related topics. .

“Faith is the foundation of our lives and of life in general,” says Simon. “Faith improves the coaching process. Proverbs 3: 5-6 tells us to trust the Lord with all your heart, and recognize him in all your ways, knowing that he will direct your paths. When we coach from a biblical perspective, we rely on the guidance and direction of the Holy Spirit. This takes coaching in another direction. We want to train as many Christian coaches as possible with our CPC Lifetime Certified Professional Coach designation so that they are equipped and competent to coach others.
