Grace UMC will organize Rally Day on September 26

KEYSER – Grace United Methodist Church in Keyser will celebrate Gathering Day on Sunday, September 26, at 9.45 a.m. Sunday school time and 11 a.m. worship service.

The church will once again welcome students of all ages to Sunday School, celebrate the promotion of children moving into a new class, and introduce Sunday School teachers at 9.45am in the shrine.

The 11 a.m. worship service will include a dedication ceremony for church leaders and Christian education teachers. New grade 3 students will receive Bibles.

Everyone is welcome to stay after the 8:30 a.m. worship service or arrive around 9:15 a.m. to join in for fellowship and refreshments.

The church will hold a welcome meeting prior to the start of rally day events in the shrine at 9.45am.

Sunday classes are available for all ages – from kindergarten to adults.

The teachers are: Kindergarten – Monica Simmons; Preschool / Kindergarten / Elementary I-II – Patsy Koontz, Julie Smith and Shannon Cutter; Elementary III-IV – Stacey McClintock and Melissa Rogers; Middle School (Grades 5-8) – Lisa Chaney Rodeheaver; High School – Mark Conrad; and our adult classes include the Gary Wilson – John Wilson class; Researchers – Rhona Fritsch, Sue Sekella and Patsy Shank; Harry Reese Class – David Harman and Joan Bolyard; and the Bane class – Mary Lou Bane and Joann Parrish.

Grace United Methodist Church is located at 30 S. Mineral St. in Keyser. Parking is available in the St. Cloud and Orchard Street lots. Disabled parking and access to the building are located at the entrance to Orchard Street.

Masks are mandatory inside the building to protect people who cannot get vaccinated.
