Music on the Hill worship will be held in Richmond Township [Religion Digest]

June 25—-St. Molltown Peter’s United Church of Christ, 219 Maidencreek Road, Richmond Township, will host a music service on the hill Sunday at 10:15 a.m. with special music by Mike and Linda Hertzog of St. Peter and other musicians. A potluck lunch follows the service. The service is outside, bring a lawn chair. Inside if bad weather.

—Kissinger’s Church, 715 Berkshire Blvd., Wyomissing, will host at Sock Hop Sunday at 4 p.m. Everyone is welcome. Bring a snack or drink to share.

—Christ Lutheran Church, 222 Niantic Road, Barto, will worship Sundays at 9 a.m. Guest organist Joe DiCindio will sing a hymn as a prelude. Coffee and conversation will be at 8:30 a.m. at the Visitor Center and again after worship.

—Zion and St. Paul’s United Church of Christ will worship together in person at 301 W. Penn Ave., Robesonia, at 10:15 a.m. Sunday, as well as via YouTube and phone. The PLARN group will meet on Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. to prepare used plastic bags to crochet into sleeping mats for the homeless followed by a worship and Christian education meeting at 2:30 p.m. and a constitution and bylaws meeting at 7 p.m.: 30 p.m.

-St. John’s Lutheran Church, 4125 Penn Avenue, Sinking Spring, will hold in-person worship Sunday at 9 a.m., with Holy Communion and special music. The service will also be streamed live on Facebook. —Reformation Lutheran Church, 3670 Perkiomen Ave., Exeter Township, will worship Sunday at 9:30 a.m. The service will be followed by a congregation meeting and Together Time, a period of refreshment and conversation. —Schwarzwald Lutheran Church, 250 Church Lane Road, Exeter Township, will hold in-person worship at 9:30 a.m. Sunday. Recorded services will be available the following day on Facebook.

—Bern Reformed United Church of Christ, 3196 Bernville Road, Canton of Bern, offers live worship at 9:30 a.m. on Sundays in the grove across Route 183 from the church. Bring a lawn chair or participate from your vehicle using an FM 87.9 transmission.

—Christ Episcopal Church, 435 Court Street, Reading, will hold three in-person worship services on Sunday morning, all including the Holy Eucharist: at 8 a.m., a so-called service (no music); at 9 am, a service for families with young children; and at 10:30 a.m., a service with music. Masks are optional. Parking is available at the Abe Lincoln Hotel parking lot and the M&T Bank parking lot, both located next to Washington St. Parking is also available next to the church on Court St. for people with disabilities or who need help. —Kissinger Church will co-host an Independence Day celebration at Rosedale Camp Grove, 1616 Vine St., Laureldale, next Saturday at 4 p.m. Free offerings. Music with refreshments afterwards. Event sponsored by Patriots N Praise.

—Maidencreek Church, 261 Main Street, Maidencreek Township, will hold hybrid worship Sunday at 9 a.m. The music includes guest pianist SaraAnn Harbonic’s prelude and postlude and Natalie Hertzog’s offertory on guitar, as well as two congregational hymns.
