Heritage Christian University in Florence, Alabama invites applications for a Faculty of Theology or Rank Ministry position open July 1, 2022. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, a desire to lead academic and spiritual formation of graduate and undergraduate students, and an interest in active participation within the HCU academic community. Applicants must (1) articulate a commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and service in the academic setting, (2) commit to integrating scholarship with the life of faith, (3) articulate a research program and (4) hold a doctorate in theology or ministry.
Preference will be given to those with a terminal degree in theology (especially systematics), although those with training in related fields are encouraged to apply. Strong ABDs, DMins and those with specialties in any other area related to the training of Christian ministers may be considered.
